![]() ![]() looking for a slow pitch softball bat for my 14 year old niece. It will all come down to how your league is. ![]() The 2014 model the sticker on the end cap does not contain any vital information. For the 2013 model that was the issue. If the sticker has fallen off the end cap will that be a problem in leagues? I have read some people say that they won't let them use the bat because it's missing the sticker. If you are looking to stay similar in design with the Mike Freak we would recommend going with the 2014 Easton L6.0. If you are worried about the weight rather than design we recommend going with the 2014 Easton L4.0 Brett Helmer edition. The 2014 Easton L6.0 is a one piece design using the IMX composite. The 2014 Easton L4.0 is their signature Brett Helmer model which is a two piece composite using the IMX composite in the barrel and the SIC black carbon in the handle to reduce vibration.I wouldn't mind going with the L6 but I've never used a 28oz bat and I don't won't to lose distance. I currently use the 2013 Miken Freak 30oz. Either the Easton L6 28oz or the L4 30oz. The main difference will be the graphics of the bats. Both bats have an increasing end load with the weight are both come with a one year manufacturer's warranty. Both bats are a single piece composite design, both using the IMX composite for the barrel. The 2015 Easton Salvo ASA SP15SVA has replaced the 2014 Easton L6.0.What is the difference between easton L series bats and the salvo?.Does this bat have to be broke in ? Before I use it in a game.I created my own cone and results were amazing and unbelievably increasing on both, performance and popularity. I’m not sure what it’s called, but a rubber piece you put add the bottom of the hand grip so that my pinky and ring finger expand, allowing a more professional grip on the bat. My only suggestion for any changes is that for the hand grip, to add an end rubber cone. After that, all my team mates where hitting ten times better. My solution was to spray a light coat sticky adhesive around the sweet spot and around the grip. Cons: Most of team mates that had little experience had a hard time using the bat.It feel s end load adding extra speed on my swing. It was easy to use and for most, I didn’t have to break it in. I played one season with it, and the bat never lost its magic. At first, it wasn’t difficult to connect with the ball, but I will suggest it to those with more experienced swing. As so as I saw it, I just had to have it. Pros: Slick new look on the neon green. The only flaw was a poorly attached rubber seal at the barrel end that peeled off and needed to be reglued. Cons: A good product and solid construction.Pros: It is a stiff bat and I'm still breaking it in. ![]()
